Meet Mark Aguilar
Mark Aguilar brings over three decades of elite law enforcement experience to The Range LA, having recently retired after 30 years with the Los Angeles Police Department. He concluded his distinguished career as a Detective with the department’s renowned Special Investigation Section (S.I.S.), one of the nation’s premier tactical surveillance units.
As a seasoned instructor, Mark has led training in firearms disciplines including handgun, rifle, pistol-mounted optics, and shotgun. His approach is grounded in an ‘eternal student’ mindset—a philosophy that drives his ongoing pursuit of excellence and commitment to improving his skill.
Throughout his career, Mark has trained with various specialized units and law enforcement agencies across the US, continually expanding his tactical expertise and instructional techniques. His deep knowledge, real-world experience, and passion for mentorship make him an invaluable member of The Range LA team.
